PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Construction is an inherently complex undertaking. There are different challenges, such as time and cost constraints, program and quality goals, project team creation and integration, and internal organizational requirements. Successful delivery requires a wellcrafted management plan, a disciplined approach to carrying it out, and effective program/project team leadership. As Program Manager, Sylmar will provide comprehensive program management services to enable clients to keep several interrelated projects in sync, on schedule, and within budget. These services help clients to mitigate risk in capital programs. The dedicated program manager will manage the planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning/closeout. Sylmar will use a programmatic approach that is scalable to the program's needs. The goal is to develop an efficient team structure and manage risks.
Services provided by program management include:
• Establish the programming, planning, design, and construction

• Establish guidelines for the selection of architects, consultants, and general contractors
• Budget and Cost Analysis

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Construction can be unpredictable and complex. A construction project involves the execution of processes in programming, design, planning, and procurement that require knowledge, experience, and skill to carry out. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Despite a program or project's good intentions and efforts, many times outcomes do not meet the expectations set at the beginning. To keep inefficiencies under control an exceptional Construction Management plan that is tailored to the client’s needs must be used. One main component of a plan is to have effective use of Project Controls which is paramount to the successful completion of a project. Project Controls are the set of processes and systems used to measure and monitor performance throughout the life of the project. The main objective is ensuring the projects are completed on time, within the budget, and with quality. Sylmar Construction Management will use Key Performance Indicators at all stages of the project to identify risk, control potential costs, and schedule impacts early in the project.
